Make 'em pay?
Can someone please explain to me why the hell it is that every other country is getting their citizens out of Lebanon without making them pay but our citizens are being charged? I can understand the time/distance problem in getting them out. I mean a ship can only move so fast to get there and I don't think evacuating US citizens into Syria is a good idea. But making them pay for it? Re-goddamn-diculous.
An Unlikely Baseball Fan
By some strange twist of fate I've gone from never having attended a baseball game to having a game to go to every week in the month of July. Never would have thought it would be something I would enjoy but damned if I'm not having a ball! No pun intended. I've seen the Bats, I've seen the Cincinnati Reds, now if I could just get out to Boston and see the Red Sox....that would be awesome.

My last demon has finally been put to rest.
In a strange series of occurences this past week which included a suicide, many long hours of work, a Red's game, a lobster boil and a trip across three states in a period of less than 12 hours my final demon has been put to rest. I have been forgiven, in person, for the one thing in my life that has been holding me back. I couldn't be happier. I finally feel like a whole human being with the potential for forward progress. Woohoo!

I've noticed recently that after about three weeks of inactivity the hits on my blog increased exponentially over a period of about three days. Interesting....obviously someone is reading it. So with that in mind I've decided that it's time to play a little game I haven't played in almost a year. Here's how it works....

I haven't felt much like writing anything since my Duds is gone. My heart's just not in it. However, I do have a small concern from work today....
If you've been following the news at all you know that Kim Jong Mentally-Il has been threatening to send a test missile in our general direction. I have mixed feelings on this, basically my concern is whether or not to be concerned. However, after receiving an order from NORAD headquarters(We ship to the military all the time, but never an order from NORAD.) today I've decided I might as well bend over, grab my ankles and kiss my ass good-bye. I figure they know something we don't and have decided lobster would be a nice last meal. Joy.
